Ellen Chapman

Tennis-mad Ellen Chapman is now back at her best and coaching the next generation of potential Andy Murrays - thanks to a revolutionary computer navigated operating technique.

Ellen, who is known as ‘the bionic woman’ by friends at the Woodend Bowling and Lawn Tennis Club, Jordanhill, developed osteo-arthritis in her left knee that was so severe it was feared she may not be able to return to playing top level competitive club tennis.
The 56 year old mother of three grown-up sons, was advised to have a complete knee replacement and opted for computer navigated surgery. And thanks to her successful operation and her determination to return to full fitness, Ellen is fit and healthy and on top of her game.
