“After waking up from the operation, I had very little pain and I was back on my feet the following day. I also took very few painkillers.
“Just five weeks after the second surgery, I was back working as a supply teacher and was able to stand up for the whole morning without any discomfort.
“Since the surgery, I really feel as though I have got my life back. I have been able to take up walking again, and I even took part in a fun run with the nurses who looked after me following my surgery."
